Le Big Boss St Emilion

Le Big Boss is produced by Vignobles Lassagne, a family-owned group of Bordeaux estates in the Libournais that includes Château des Landes, Château des Arnauds, and Château Maltus. The cuvée was created as a tribute to winegrowers devoted to their vineyards and terroir. What makes this wine particularly interesting is its composition. While Merlot dominates most of Saint-Émilion and its satellite appellations, Le Big Boss is made from 100% Cabernet Sauvignon.

Tasting Notes
Colour: Deep, concentrated purple with a dark youthful core.

Nose: Rich and expressive, with blackcurrant, ripe red fruit and dark berries accompanied by spice, subtle earth, and mineral nuances.

Palate: Round and powerful, with cassis and ripe red fruit framed by silky yet structured tannins. The absence of oak keeps the fruit particularly clear and vibrant, while the old vines provide concentration and the clay-limestone soils contribute a savoury, mineral dimension.

Finish: Persistent and structured, with lingering blackcurrant, red berries, spice, and subtle earthy character.
