Lochlea Orchard & Oak Single Estate

Lochlea Distillery is an independent, family-owned distillery located in Ayrshire in the Lowlands of Scotland, producing true single estate whisky from field to bottle. Using barley grown and harvested on their own farm, Lochlea distils, matures, and bottles all on site. Orchard & Oak is matured in a carefully selected combination of first-fill bourbon casks and European oak, emphasizing bright fruit character while allowing the natural influence of oak to shape the whisky’s structure and depth.

Tasting Notes:
The nose opens with aromas of green apple, pear, and soft vanilla. On the palate, crisp orchard fruit leads, supported by honeyed malt, gentle spice, and creamy oak. The finish is clean and warming, with lingering fruit sweetness, light spice, and a touch of fresh oak.
