Lost Lore SOS Cask 004 Blanco

Lost Lore was founded by Arturo Lamas III, drawing inspiration from his family’s history of agave distillation. Its tequila is produced under Master Distiller Sergio Cruz at the Vivanco family’s NOM 1414 distillery in Arandas, Jalisco. Mature Los Altos Blue Weber agave is cooked in traditional stone and brick ovens, extracted by roller mill, fermented in stainless steel with Champagne yeast, and double distilled in copper pot stills. This barrel pick spent 15 days rested in Napa Valley Chardonnay barrels, adding another layer of oak influence.

Tasting Notes
Nose: Expressive cooked agave with lime peel, fresh herbs, wet stone, olive brine, and cracked black pepper.

Palate: Full and slightly oily, offering roasted agave sweetness, citrus zest, spearmint, earthy minerality, and concentrated pepper spice.

Finish: Long, warming, and savoury, with lingering agave, herbal freshness, salinity, and a final burst of black pepper.
