Macallan Time:Space Sherry Cask

Released in September 2026, TIME : SPACE Sherry Cask is the third chapter in The Macallan’s TIME : SPACE Collection, following the original TIME : SPACE and TIME : SPACE Mastery releases created around the distillery’s 200th anniversary. It is a 20 Year Old single malt, bottled at 44.8% ABV and presented at natural colour.
Its significance comes from The Macallan’s 2023 acquisition of historic Jerez sherry producer Valdespino. This is the first Macallan whisky influenced by casks seasoned with Valdespino sherry since that acquisition, bringing the whisky and sherry-making sides of the company together in a single release.

Tasting Notes
Nose: Sherry-soaked raisins, figs and Medjool dates, layered with frangipane, cinder toffee, caramelised nuts, dark chocolate, cinnamon, star anise and ginger.
Palate: Rich and complex with sultanas, dates and apricots, ginger cake, treacle toffee, bramble jam and chocolate-covered cherries, followed by clove, cinnamon, cocoa and polished oak.
Finish: Warming wood spice and gentle oak with a distinctive touch of espresso.
