Two distinct voices merge: the lush fruit of the distillate and the refined dryness of long-term maturation. The finish is sustained and elegant, with warm wood, gentle dryness and a lingering impression of maturity and subtle intrigue.
This whisky is best savoured neat in a tulip or Glencairn glass to allow its bouquet to unfurl and its layers to emerge. If the wood influence feels firm, a few drops of water can help open up underlying fruit and soften the structure for a more approachable experience.
