Metaxa Gold Label Seven Star

Metaxa was founded in 1888 by Spyros Metaxa and remains one of Greece’s most iconic spirits. Produced in Athens, it combines wine distillates aged in oak casks with sweet Muscat wines from the island of Samos, along with a proprietary blend of Mediterranean botanicals.

The “7 Star” designation indicates the average age and maturity level of the distillates used in the blend, with older components contributing depth and smoothness. After blending, the spirit undergoes further marrying to integrate flavours before bottling. The result is a distinctive profile that differs from traditional brandy through its added aromatic and slightly sweet character.
