Reflecting each vintage through the wines, the winegrowers combine their efforts, their risk-taking and their instincts. Understanding the world of wine means taking into account several factors interacting together: the different generations succeeding one another, the geography of the terroirs and the diversity of vintages throughout the contingencies of life. At Domaine Neumeyer, well aware of the multi-factorial character of an authentic wine, each element is taken into account and optimized as much as possible. In the vineyard, all our plots are managed according to the teachings of organic viticulture, with superficial scratching, grassing of native flora, manual harvest with sorting, plot selection and measured yields. In the cellar, gentle pressing, sorting table, minimalist vinification at the discretion of the winemaker, native yeasts and long aging on the lees are all ways of preserving the potential of the raw material from grapes harvested at maturity. On our local scale, the entire family embodying the Neumeyer estate aspires day after day to offer wines of personality, quality, best representing the potential of the vineyard located in 3 Alsatian communes in Molsheim, Mutzig and Avolsheim. Notes of yeast and pear on this wines almost raw nose are immediate and fresh. The palate still carries that yeasty funk but blossoms into freshness with its supple mousse with tiny bubbles.
