Produced by Linkwood Distillery in Elgin, Speyside, and independently bottled by Glasgow-based North Star Spirits, this 9 year old single malt forms part of North Star’s acclaimed portfolio of small batch and single cask releases. Founded in 1821, Linkwood has long been regarded as one of Speyside’s hidden gems, producing a refined, floral spirit prized by blenders and increasingly sought after by single malt enthusiasts. While official distillery bottlings remain relatively rare, independent bottlers such as North Star have helped showcase Linkwood’s distinctive character, known for its combination of fresh fruit, delicate floral notes, and silky texture. Bottled at natural colour and without chill filtration, this release allows the distillery’s spirit to shine with minimal intervention.

Tasting Notes
Nose: Bright aromas of green apple, pear drops, vanilla custard, honey, lemon zest, fresh-cut grass, and soft floral notes emerge alongside hints of malted biscuit and gentle oak.

Palate: Silky and expressive with layers of orchard fruit, vanilla cream, honeycomb, citrus peel, shortbread, white pepper, and subtle baking spice balanced by a rich, oily texture.

Finish: Medium to long with lingering notes of sweet malt, fresh pear, vanilla, oak spice, and delicate citrus freshness.
