Remus Repeal Reserve Series IX is the 2025 limited-edition release from Ross & Squibb Distillery in Lawrenceburg, Indiana. Created by Master Distiller Ian Stirsman, the annual series celebrates the repeal of American Prohibition on December 5, 1933.
Named for notorious Prohibition-era bootlegger George Remus, the collection showcases the distillery's extensive stocks of mature, rye-forward bourbon. Series IX is non-chill filtered and represents the highest bottling strength in the series to date.

Tasting Notes
Nose: Seasoned oak, ripe sweet cherry, subtle tobacco and worn leather.
Palate: Rich cherry and roasted coffee with prominent oak, warming rye spice and a hint of smoke.
Finish: Long and layered, with lingering oak and allspice gradually giving way to coffee, cherry and tobacco.
