Royal Brackla 25 Year Old

Royal Brackla was founded in 1812 and became the first Scotch whisky distillery to receive a Royal Warrant from King William IV in 1833, earning the title “The King’s Own Whisky.” Located in the Highlands near Nairn, the distillery is known for producing a rich, fruity spirit that responds exceptionally well to sherry cask maturation. The 25 Year Old sits at the pinnacle of the core range, matured in a combination of oak and Oloroso sherry casks to create a whisky of depth, texture, and elegance. Royal Brackla has earned increasing acclaim in recent years for its luxurious, sherry-forward style and understated sophistication.

Tasting Notes

Palate: Rich and velvety, with layers of toffee, dried fruit, orange peel, and dark chocolate balanced by oak, nutmeg, and soft sherry sweetness.

Finish: Long and elegant, with lingering fruitcake notes, gentle spice, and a refined, slightly dry oak fade.
