Signatory Auchriosk 100 Proof

This 13 Year Old Auchroisk was distilled in 2010 and bottled by independent bottler Signatory Vintage in 2024 as Edition #12 of its 100 Proof series. It spent its full maturation in first-fill Oloroso sherry butts before being bottled at 57.1% ABV, without chill filtration or added colouring. Auchroisk Distillery is located in Speyside and was established in the early 1970s, originally to provide malt whisky for the J&B blended Scotch portfolio.

Tasting Notes
Nose: Rich Oloroso sherry with raisins, figs, and stewed plum, opening into orange marmalade, caramel, toasted almonds, dark chocolate, and warming cinnamon spice.

Palate: Full-bodied and powerful with juicy orange, dark cherry, dried fruit, honey, and caramel alongside hazelnut spread, dark chocolate, candied walnut, leather, and warming spice.

Finish: Long and warming with lingering dried fruit, dark chocolate, roasted nuts, oak, leather, and spice, becoming gently drying toward the end.
