ingle Cask Nation Blacksboat 12 Year Old is an independent bottling selected by Single Cask Nation, the independent bottling arm of the Jewish Whisky Company. "Blacksboat" is the pseudonym commonly used to identify whiskies from Glenfarclas Distillery, allowing independent bottlers to release the spirit without naming the distillery directly. Distilled in February 2013 and bottled in 2026 after 12 years of maturation, this release spent its entire maturation in a first-fill Pedro Ximénez hogshead (Cask #180641**) before being bottled at its natural cask strength.

Tasting Notes
Nose: Rich aromas of raisins, dates, dark cherries, orange oil, cocoa, roasted hazelnuts, espresso, polished oak, and warming baking spices unfold with remarkable intensity.

Palate: Full-bodied and velvety with layers of PX-soaked dried fruit, dark chocolate, treacle, roasted coffee, cinnamon, clove, toasted walnuts, honeyed malt, and rich sherry sweetness balanced by vibrant cask strength.

Finish: Long and warming with lingering notes of mocha, dried figs, sweet oak, dark fruit, nutmeg, orange zest, and gentle spice.
