The Cairn CRN57 "Vision"

Created by The Cairn Distillery, a new Speyside whisky producer set in Scotland’s Cairngorms National Park and backed by the historic Gordon & MacPhail family, the CRN57 range gives whisky lovers a chance to “taste tomorrow, today.” While the distillery’s own single malts won’t be released for many years as they mature, these blended malt whiskies are designed by expert blenders to reflect the aromas and flavours expected to emerge in future single malt releases. The “Vision” release is the entry point in this innovative series, bottled at 40% ABV and capturing a fresh, forward-looking character that invites exploration.

Tasting Notes:
The nose opens with soft vanilla cream, blueberry and green apple fruit, underpinned by delicate citrus and light orchard sweetness. On the palate, crisp apple and zesty citrus mingle with juicy summer berries, figs, and gentle nutty notes, leading to a clean, vibrant finish with a touch of spice and lingering fruitiness.
