Wynns Black Label Cabernet

Founded on the historic Coonawarra estate established by John Riddoch in the late 19th century, Wynns Coonawarra Estate has become one of Australia's most iconic wineries. Since the first release of Black Label Cabernet Sauvignon in 1954, the wine has earned a reputation as Australia's benchmark Cabernet Sauvignon and one of the country's most collectible reds.
Black Label Cabernet is produced using only the top 20–25% of Cabernet Sauvignon fruit from Wynns' estate vineyards. The grapes are harvested from the region's famous Terra Rossa soils over limestone, fermented with extended skin contact to build structure and complexity, then matured in a combination of new and seasoned French oak barrels.

Tasting Notes
Colour: Deep ruby with vibrant garnet hues.

Nose: Lifted aromas of blackberry, cassis, black cherry, white sage, cedar, tobacco leaf, cocoa, and subtle lavender.

Palate: Medium- to full-bodied with flavours of blackcurrant, dark cherry, plum, and blackberry layered with fine cedar, dark chocolate, earth, and savoury herbs. Elegant acidity and beautifully integrated, powdery tannins provide outstanding balance and precision.

Finish: Long and persistent, with lingering black fruit, cedar spice, graphite, and refined mineral notes characteristic of Coonawarra Cabernet
