Adelphi Glen Elgin 20-Year-Old 1995 Cask 3216 Alcohol 53.1% 210 bottles The Glen Elgin 20 years old 1995 Adelphi Archive is a Speyside single malt from the Glen Elgin distillery bottled by the independent bottler Adelphi. This Glen Elgin was distilled in 1995 and matured in cask 3216. It was bottled in 2016 at natural cask strength of 53,1% ABV, non chill filtered and with no added colour, as a limited single cask release of 210 bottles. Re-filled ex bourbon barrel. Color: Autumn gold. Nose: Open moorland, fresh and fragrant, with bog myrtle and distant peat cuttings, opening into bay leaves, and sun-kissed olive leaves. Taste: Quite mineral. Buttery shortbread with a dusting of chocolate.
