Barrell Foundation Double Barrell Bourbon

Foundation Double Barrel combines straight bourbons aged between five and nine years, sourced from Kentucky, Indiana, Tennessee and Maryland. The blend has a derived mash bill of 73% corn, 23% rye and 4% malted barley.

Following their initial maturation, the whiskeys undergo secondary aging in new American oak casks, intensifying notes of chocolate, dried fruit, toasted marshmallow and warming spice. This additional oak influence creates a fuller, more layered bourbon while preserving the rich sweetness and rye-driven complexity of the original Foundation blend.

Tasting Notes
Nose: Caramel, milk chocolate and baked apple, with hints of cinnamon, honey-roasted almonds, orange peel and sweet leather.
Palate: Rich and creamy, with dark chocolate, toasted marshmallow and caramel, followed by cherry, vanilla, roasted coffee and warming spice.
Finish: Smooth and lingering, with vanilla, orange zest, cinnamon and gentle white pepper.
