Black Stallion Gaspare VYD Cab Sauvignon

A powerful yet polished Napa Cabernet, this estate-grown bottling brings together dark fruit intensity, refined oak, and the elegant structure of the Oak Knoll District. Black Stallion Gaspare VYD Cab Sauvignon

Black Stallion Estate Winery is located on Napa Valley’s Silverado Trail and takes its name from the historic equestrian centre that once stood on the property. The winery focuses on showcasing the diversity of Napa Valley through estate-grown and carefully selected vineyard bottlings.
This Cabernet Sauvignon comes from the Gaspare Estate Vineyard, named in honour of Gaspare Indelicato, patriarch of the Indelicato family. The vineyard sits in the Oak Knoll District of Napa Valley, where a moderate growing climate supports even ripening and helps preserve balance in Cabernet Sauvignon.

Tasting Notes
Colour: Deep garnet-purple with a dense, concentrated appearance.

Nose: Aromas of blackberry, black cherry, cassis, brown sugar, cedar, tobacco leaf, cocoa, and warm spice.

Palate: Full-bodied and richly layered, with dark fruit flavours of blackberry, black cherry, and plum supported by notes of chocolate, cedar, baking spice, and subtle tobacco. Fine-grained tannins provide structure, while balanced acidity keeps the wine polished and composed.

Finish: Long, elegant, and structured, with lingering dark fruit, cedar, cocoa, spice, and a firm yet refined tannic finish.

Cellaring
Enjoy now with a generous decant, or cellar for 7 to 10 years to allow the oak, tannins, and dark fruit character to further integrate.
