The Notes and character created from contact with oak are what shape the whiskeys that are loved and enjoyed. But instead of finishing our whiskey inside of barrels, Broken Barrel explores what happens when you do the exact opposite. Uniquely, Broken Barrel finishes whiskey with broken barrel staves ... they put wood into their whiskey! And the results speak for themselves. The whiskey boasts strong maple and sweet sugar notes on the nose, with warm cedar notes, and an alpine taste reminiscent of tree sap. It is extremely well balanced with maple, toffee, and roasted almond flavors.
