Bruichladdich Octomore 13.3 - 5 Year Old Islay Barley

The Octomore 13.3 Islay Whiskey comes from the famous Bruichladdich distillery in Scotland. You can be sure that the quality is right and that you are holding an absolute top product in your hands. The phenol level is a concentrated 129.3 PPM and thus ensures an intensely smoky aroma that is second to none. The basis is 100% Scottish Concerto barley, which is grown on the Octomore Farm. The harvest dates back to 2015, the whiskey was distilled in 2016. It was allowed to mature for five years on the island of Islay, in former American first-fill whiskey casks and former second-fill oak casks. The use of cold filtration and the addition of dyes was completely dispensed with. On the nose, the whiskey impresses with its multifaceted aroma, which ranges from brown sugar to vanilla and marzipan to green fruits. On the palate, these notes are complemented by salty nuances, smoke aromas, sweet honey notes and a touch of coconut. Dry smoke, fine fruity nuances of peach and stewed pear determine the long, slightly sweet finish of this complex whiskey. Enjoy this noble drop pure at room temperature.
