Bunnahabhain 1968 50 Year Old Signatory 30th Anniversary

This Bunnahabhain 50 Year Old was distilled on Islay in 1968 and spent the next five decades maturing in a single refill sherry butt, before being bottled in 2018 by Signatory Vintage for its 30th Anniversary series. This unpeated single malt has a savoury, maritime nose, with exotic fruit aromas and hints of medicinal herbs. The palate offers notes of vanilla, milk chocolate, passion fruit and sage, before developing into flavours of wildflowers, tobacco and sweet malt that linger in the finish.
