Calvados Pere Magloire Fine (Dulac)

Founded in 1821, Père Magloire is one of the most recognized and historic Calvados producers in Normandy, France. Named after a legendary Norman innkeeper celebrated for his appreciation of local cider and spirits, the house has become synonymous with traditional apple brandy production and regional authenticity.

Calvados is produced through the distillation of cider made from carefully selected Norman apples grown in the cool maritime climate of northwestern France. Père Magloire Fine is crafted from a blend of distilled apple ciders that are aged in oak casks to develop complexity, smoothness, and aromatic depth while preserving the spirit’s fresh orchard fruit character.

The moderate aging process contributes layers of vanilla, spice, and soft wood influence without overshadowing the vibrant apple-driven profile. The result is a balanced and versatile Calvados designed for both sipping and cocktail use.
