Elegance is the defining characteristic of Camus Cognacs, and Camus VSOP Elegance owes its fabulous aromatic character to a blend of wines distilled with some of the lees left in. This technique requires great expertise and ensures a remarkable aromatic intensity. The eaux-de-vie are then aged in barrels selected for their mild tannins. Particular attention is paid to the toast of the barrels that we use, to ensure that the fruity and floral aromas express themselves to the full whilst also adding a hint of spices and vanilla. The vibrant golden color of Camus VSOP Elegance announces a floral and fruity nose, with notes of grapefruit and almond. The harmony of this fresh fruit, accented with subtle hints of oak, is eloquently expressed in the palate. Spicy notes and a hint of vanilla bring added finesse to the finish.
