Chateau Mareil Bordeaux

Château Mareil is a family-owned estate located in the Médoc, on Bordeaux's prestigious Left Bank. Managed by generations of the Brun family for more than 400 years, the property shifted from cooperative production to estate bottling in 1998, allowing the family to oversee every stage of viticulture and winemaking. Today, Château Mareil continues to produce authentic Bordeaux wines that reflect the gravelly soils and maritime climate of the Médoc.

Tasting Notes
Colour: Deep ruby with garnet highlights.

Nose: Aromas of blackcurrant, blackberry, plum, cedar, and subtle notes of tobacco, graphite, and baking spice.

Palate: Medium- to full-bodied with flavours of cassis, dark cherry, and black plum supported by structured tannins, fresh acidity, and hints of cedar and savoury herbs.

Finish: Long and balanced, with lingering dark fruit, gentle oak spice, and classic Médoc minerality.
