Corte Armano Ripasso

Corte Armano is produced by the Campagnola family in Valgatara, in the heart of Valpolicella Classico. The family’s winemaking history spans five generations and traces back to Catarina Zardini, who helped establish the estate’s reputation in the early 1900s.

The wine is made using the traditional Ripasso method. After its initial fermentation, the Valpolicella is refermented on fresh Amarone and Recioto pomace, adding body, tannin and complexity. It then matures for approximately one year in large oak barrels, followed by additional bottle ageing.

Tasting Notes
Colour: Deep ruby-garnet.

Nose: Ripe plum and black cherry with dried herbs, cocoa, spice and subtle roasted notes.

Palate: Medium to full-bodied and smooth, with dark fruit, gentle spice and soft, velvety tannins.

Finish: Long and savoury, with lingering cherry, cocoa and dried-herb notes.
