Edward Delauna 2022/23 Haut Cote de Nuit Blanc

Maison Édouard Delaunay was founded in Burgundy in 1893 and revived by fifth-generation family member Laurent Delaunay in 2017. The Charmont Blanc comes from the elevated vineyards of the Hautes-Côtes de Nuits, where cooler conditions and limestone-rich soils help Chardonnay retain freshness and tension. The 2022 vintage shows a particularly balanced combination of ripeness and acidity, with the wine emphasizing fruit purity, floral character and restrained oak influence.

Colour: Bright golden yellow.
Nose: White flowers, lemon zest, yellow apple and subtle hazelnut.
Palate: Rounded and silky, with citrus and stone fruit supported by fresh acidity and stony minerality.
Finish: Clean, fresh and persistent with a lightly saline edge.
