Distilled April 22, 1998 and bottled June 7, 2021. Refill sherry hogshead. Nose: Sherry aromas complement sultanas and dark chocolate. Fruitcake aromas develop alongside Seville orange peel and roasted coffee beans. Taste: Smooth flavours of stewed red berries and baked apple lead to subtle mint leaves. Citrus fruit comes to the fore accompanied by treacle toffee. Finish: A medium-bodied and long finish with lingering toasted almonds. Created in 1968 by whisky visionary, ‘Mr George’ Urquhart, the Connoisseurs Choice range has featured more than 2,000 bottlings from almost 100 Scottish distilleries.
