G&M Spirit of Scotland Glen Grant 2010 Cask #903212

Glen Grant was founded in Rothes in 1840 by brothers John and James Grant, making it one of Speyside's historic distilleries. Its modern house character owes much to James "The Major" Grant, who took control in the late 19th century and introduced the distinctive tall stills and water-cooling purifiers that continue to contribute to Glen Grant's lighter, elegant style.

Tasting Notes
Nose: Clove-studded tangerine and juicy raisin lead the aroma, with aromatic cardamom adding a warm, gently exotic layer of spice.

Palate: Sweet sultana arrives first, followed by ripe blackberry and lively citrus zest. At 60.4%, the profile is concentrated and full-bodied, with the first-fill sherry cask providing plenty of weight without completely losing Glen Grant's brighter fruit.

Finish: Hazelnut brings a roasted, nutty richness before fresh raspberry emerges on the finish, leaving lingering fruit, spice and warming oak.
