GlenAllachie 10 Years Old Cask Strength Batch 7

From the first batch, this 10-year-old whisky has amazed enthusiasts with its taste and quality. After the appearance of the new batches, this whisky became more and more illustrious. The fourth batch was also awarded Worlds Best Single Malt at the World Whisky Awards 2021, so the bar is set high when introducing this seventh release. Bottled at 56.8%, The GlenAllachie Cask Strength Batch 7 is a combination of Pedro Ximénez and Oloroso sherry puncheons along with a small amount of Virgin Oak and Rioja casks. The result is a perfectly balanced yet complex single malt that overflows with ripe plums, dark chocolate and raisins, all supported by classic GlenAllachie honey tones. Tasting Notes: Nose: Waves of heather honey, dried fruit, cinnamon and nutmeg, followed by orange zest, mocha and syrup. Palate: Dark chocolate, figs and heather honey, complemented by raisins, cinnamon, prunes and hints of orange peel. Finish: Long, pleasant and spicy that slowly turns into dark fruit and honey.
