There is also a cocoa-like richness beneath the fruit tones. On the palate, expect baking spices, dried blood orange, grilled honeycomb, and bursts of rich cocoa. Poached cinnamon apples, fig syrup, pecans, and demerara sugar contribute depth and weight. The finish lingers with dark fruits, mild spice, and soft oak warmth.

Enjoy this whisky neat in a tulip or Glencairn glass to allow the aromas to develop. If you find the wood influence a bit bold, a few drops of water bring forward fruit and mellow the structure.
