Glendalough 7 year old Mizunara Oak Finished Irish Single Malt

It has many of the familiar fruit notes, pear and apples, apricots, melon, and honey as well. But there is a distinct layer of perfumed spices and flowers punching in and out of the fruit notes. It’s all fruit at first on the palate but quickly turns to honey and sandalwood spice before sweet cereal grains and vanilla arrive. The enduring finish is a harmonious marriage of sweet and fruity Irish malt and spicy Mizunara oak.
