The 14-year-old Linkwood has been bottled under the umbrella of Elixir Distillers in the series The Single Malts of Scotland . Only the best single casks from selected distilleries are selected to present the unmistakable fingerprint of each distillery at a specific point of maturation. Each bottling has a unique cask number and is bottled at the optimum strength without chill filtration or coloring to emphasize its individual character. The Speyside Whiskey was distilled on January 23rd, 2008 and then stored in a hogshed with the cask number 800856 for 14 years. The single cask was then bottled at cask strength with a voluminous 58.9% in just 262 bottles .
