Macbeth Act II - Glentauchers 27 Year Old "Lennox"

The nose opens gently with aromas of fresh orchard fruits, soft vanilla and honeyed malt, layered over subtle toasted American oak. Hints of lemon-zest, white chocolate and a whisper of spice add intrigue.
On the palate, ripe pear, crisp green apple and custard meet light wood smoke and almond praline, supported by a creamy texture and gentle oak tannin. The finish is long and balanced, leaving echoes of warm spice, baked fruit and vanilla-cream richness with a clean oak drive.

Best enjoyed neat in a tulip-shaped or Glencairn glass to allow the internal character to unfold. If desired, a few drops of water can gently soften the oak influence and highlight the fruit and vanilla notes.
