Marqués de Cáceres is one of Rioja’s most respected wineries, founded in 1970 by Enrique Forner with the goal of combining traditional Rioja winemaking with modern precision. Based in Cenicero in Rioja Alta, the winery has built an international reputation for producing wines that emphasize purity, elegance, and consistency.

Tasting Notes
Colour: Deep ruby with garnet reflections

Nose: Aromas of black cherry, red plum, and blackberry layered with notes of vanilla, cedar, tobacco, clove, and sweet spice

Palate: Medium- to full-bodied, with refined tannins and balanced acidity. Flavours of ripe red and dark fruit are complemented by cocoa, leather, toasted oak, and subtle balsamic notes

Finish: Long and polished, with lingering fruit, spice, cedar, and classic Rioja savouriness
