Mendel Semillon

Bodega Mendel was founded in Mendoza by Roberto de la Mota and the Sielecki family with the goal of producing wines that faithfully express the character of Argentina's finest old vineyards. While the winery is renowned for its Malbec, it also champions historic white varieties, including Semillon sourced from old vines planted in the early 20th century in Luján de Cuyo. These mature vineyards naturally produce low yields and exceptional concentration, resulting in wines of depth, texture, and longevity.

Tasting Notes
Colour: Bright straw yellow with pale golden reflections.

Nose: Aromas of lemon zest, grapefruit, white peach, pear, chamomile, fresh herbs, and delicate notes of honey and wet stone.

Palate: Medium-bodied and beautifully textured, with flavours of citrus, ripe orchard fruit, white flowers, and subtle beeswax supported by lively acidity and a refined mineral backbone.

Finish: Long, crisp, and elegant, with lingering citrus, saline minerality, gentle herbal notes, and a touch of honeyed complexity.
