MORTLACH 2010 11 YEAR OLD STRICTLY (CÀRN MÒR) LIMITED SINGLE CASK BOTTLED EXCLUSIVELY FOR CRAFT CELLARSAged for its entire 11 year maturation in a first fill Oloroso sherry cask, this beautifully rich whisky has been bottled at cask strength of 54.3%. Nose: Concentrated notes of walnuts and dark chocolate with some fainter aromas of caramel, polished wood and dried prune. Palate: Generous, mouth coating oils. A merry-go-round of flavours including cocoa, leather, vanilla pod, wood spice and citrus peel. Finish: Medium to long length, with lingering bitter orange peel and nocino, gradually make way leaving black pepper and faint leather.
