Murray McDavid Benrinnes 11 Year Old is a 2013-vintage Speyside single malt released in Autumn 2025 as part of the bottler's Benchmark collection. The whisky began in bourbon hogsheads before being transferred to first-fill bourbon barrels, keeping the maturation firmly focused on American oak rather than the more assertive wine and fortified-wine finishes often associated with Murray McDavid.

Nose: Ripe pineapple and banana sit over creamy malt, giving the whisky a distinctly tropical and generous opening.

Palate: Sweet boiled candies meet mixed nuts and fresh grassy notes. The profile remains creamy and fruit-driven, but with enough nuttiness and cereal character to keep the sweetness in check.

Finish: Tropical fruit returns alongside bright citrus and lemon oil, leaving a fresh, zesty finish after the richer malt and fruit.
