Murray McDavid Cameronbridge 32 Year Old is a 1992-vintage Single Grain Scotch Whisky released as part of the bottler’s premium Mission Gold collection in spring 2025. After its long maturation in bourbon barrels, Murray McDavid finished the whisky in first-fill Uitvlugt rum casks, bringing an unusual Caribbean dimension to more than three decades of mature Lowland grain whisky.

Tasting Notes
Nose: Buttery cereal and fresh apple lead into liquorice, with mature vanilla and gentle sweetness developing underneath.

Palate: Rich vanilla fudge meets sweet ginger and creamy chai latte spices. Independent tasting also finds coconut alongside the mature grain sweetness, fitting naturally with the influence of the Guyanese rum casks.

Finish: Oily and mellow, with leathery fruit, seasoned oak and soft lingering spice.
