North Star Glenlossie 11 Year Old

North Star Spirits is an independent bottler based in Glasgow, Scotland. They pride themselves on bottling the finest single malt Scotch whisky, blended whisky and blended malt Scotch whisky. Producing artisan single cask whisky from various regions of Scotland as well as bottling rums, gins and Bourbon whiskey. All products are small batch, bottled at cask strength. An independent bottling from the Glenlossie Distillery. Distilled in 2012 and matured for 11 years in four refill Octaves. Bottled in 2023 at 61.1% abv with only 267 bottles available. Our Tasting Notes Nose: Hints of tropical fruits, coconut with a sweet and spicy clove aroma. Palate: At first bitter and salty then mingles with dried dark fruits mainly figs and dates, then a wonderful fresh hint of sweet ripe green apple. Finish: Medium to long with oatcakes and delicatessen meats and hints of pickled vegetables.
