Old Forester Single Barrel Rye

Old Forester, founded in 1870 by George Garvin Brown, is one of the most historic names in American whiskey and is produced at the Brown-Forman Distillery in Louisville, Kentucky. The brand is notable for being the first bourbon sold exclusively in sealed bottles to guarantee quality and authenticity. Today, Old Forester continues to produce its whiskey using traditional methods including fermentation in cypress wood tanks, copper pot still distillation, and aging in new charred American oak barrels.
The Single Barrel Rye expression showcases Old Forester’s distinctive rye mash bill of 65% rye, 20% malted barley, and 15% corn, a recipe designed to deliver bold spice balanced with sweetness and body.
