NO EXCEPTIONS. LIMIT 1 PER PERSON/HOUSEHOLD - NO EXCEPTIONS Longrow is a double distilled, heavily peated Single Malt Scotch Whisky produced at Springbank Distillery. The malt is peat dried for up to 48 hours to give the whisky a unique Campbeltown smoky character. Named after another lost distillery of Campbeltown (which once operated right next door to Springbank and whose warehouse now houses our bottling hall), Longrow was first produced in 1973 to provide a peaty, oily and robust component to a blend being created at the time. More heavily peated and double distilled, it has been a staple in the production calendar since the 1990s. The oldest whisky in the Longrow core range, the annually released 21 year old has a different maturation with each release. Sweet peat smoke and maritime notes show Longrow at its best in this most recent edition. 46% ABV 65% Sherry, 35% Bourbon Nose There is a savoury note in the introduction to this dram, along with hints of hazelnut and blackcurrants. Palate Syrupy sweet yet delicate on the palate, there are notes of fizzy cola bottles and cigar box smoke. Finish A characteristically Longrow finish reminiscent of shingle beaches, flint and seaweed.
