Peddlers Shanghai Craft Gin is handcrafted in small batches in Shanghai, China, and is widely recognized as the world's first premium gin distilled in Shanghai. Created after years of recipe development, the gin reflects the city's rich history as a global trading hub by combining classic gin botanicals with ingredients sourced from across China. Distilled in a traditional copper alembic pot still, the recipe features eleven botanicals, including juniper, coriander, lotus, Buddha's Hand citrus, East Asian mint, Chinese liquorice, cassia, and the signature addition of Sichuan pepper. The result is a contemporary gin that honours the London Dry tradition while expressing a distinctly Chinese identity through its layered citrus, floral, and spice character.

Tasting Notes
Nose: Fresh juniper is joined by fragrant Buddha's Hand citrus, delicate lotus blossom, coriander, and vibrant Sichuan pepper with subtle herbal notes.

Palate: Bright and silky with flavours of lemon zest, Buddha's Hand, classic juniper, coriander, soft florals, warming cassia, and the distinctive tingling spice of Sichuan pepper balanced by a gentle sweetness.

Finish: Long, crisp, and dry with lingering citrus oils, floral botanicals, gentle pepper spice, and refreshing herbal freshness.
