Podre Frontino Montepulciano d’Abruzzo

Podere Frontino is an estate of the historic Campagnola family, a fifth-generation producer best known for its wines from Valpolicella. The estate is located in Bucchianico, in the province of Chieti, where six hectares of certified organic vineyards are planted on clay-limestone soils at approximately 280 metres above sea level. The combination of warm days and cool evenings allows the Montepulciano grapes to develop concentrated fruit while retaining freshness and aromatic complexity.

Tasting Notes
Colour: Deep ruby red with violet reflections.

Nose: Inviting aromas of ripe black cherry, Marasca cherry, plum, blackberry, and subtle hints of spice and dried herbs.

Palate: Medium-bodied and juicy, offering flavours of dark cherry, blackberry, and plum supported by soft, integrated tannins, lively acidity, and a touch of savoury earthiness.

Finish: Smooth and balanced, with lingering dark fruit, gentle spice, and a fresh mineral lift.
