Rock Island Mezcal Cask Edition

Douglas Laing has finished its Rock Island blended malt Scotch whisky in mezcal casks – which is rather intriguing indeed! The whisky itself is made with a host of whiskies from Scotlands whisky producing islands, including Jura, Orkney, Arra n, and Islay. After blending, it was given a 12 month finishing period in mezcal casks, bolstering the smoky, earthy notes of the whisky. 1,500 bottles were produced.
