A new depth of character has been achieved by finishing our maritime spirit in Plantation Rum Casks predominantly from the Caribbean, including from the island countries of Jamaica, Trinidad, and Barbados. An extraordinary encapsulation of the very best Single Malts distilled on the glorious islands of Islay, Arran, Jura and Orkney (amongst others), Rock Island is a subtle, smoky and sweet celebration of the sea. Nose Initially detect salted caramel and sea-spray giving way to charred pineapple, vanilla fudge and stone fruits. Palate Thick and mouth-coating with caramel and BBQ’d banana balanced by toasted oak and peated Malt. Finish Lingers long with candied ginger, brown sugar and just a touch of smoke.
