Edradour 46% Sherrified

Edradour is one of Scotland’s smallest traditional distilleries, nestled in the Highlands near Pitlochry and known for its hands-on production methods and richly textured spirit. Unlike many larger producers, Edradour maintains a distinctly old-fashioned approach, using small stills and slow production to create a weightier style of whisky. The β€œSherrified” release leans heavily into the distillery’s affinity for sherry cask maturation, amplifying the dense fruit, spice, and chocolate notes that have made Edradour a favourite among sherry whisky enthusiasts.

Tasting Notes
Nose: Raisins, figs, and dark chocolate lead, followed by cinnamon, roasted nuts, and polished oak.

Palate: Rich and velvety, with layers of fruitcake, toffee, cocoa, and sweet spice balanced by a dense, oily texture.

Finish: Long and warming, with lingering dried fruit, nutmeg, espresso, and a gently tannic oak fade.
