SJ Agricole White

Produced by Saint James Distillery in Sainte-Marie, Martinique, SJ Agricole White is crafted from fresh sugarcane juice rather than molasses, following the strict regulations of the Martinique AOC (Appellation d'Origine Contrôlée). Founded in 1765, Saint James is one of the island's oldest and most celebrated rum producers, renowned for preserving the traditions of French Caribbean rhum agricole. Freshly harvested cane is fermented shortly after pressing and distilled in continuous Creole column stills, preserving the vibrant vegetal and fruity characteristics that define agricole rum.

Tasting Notes
Nose: Bright aromas of fresh sugarcane, lime zest, green banana, white flowers, cut grass, black pepper, and subtle mineral notes are lifted by delicate citrus blossom.

Palate: Crisp and lively with flavours of sweet cane juice, grapefruit, tropical fruit, fresh herbs, white pepper, lemongrass, and light earthy minerality balanced by a silky mouthfeel.

Finish: Long, clean, and refreshing with lingering sugarcane sweetness, citrus peel, peppery spice, and delicate grassy freshness.
