The finish is long and warming, with lingering pepper, oak char, and a touch of fruit-sweetness that fades into a spicy warmth.
Best enjoyed neat in a tulip or Glencairn glass so the aromas can develop, or with a few drops of water to smooth the edges and lift out fruit and spice. It also holds up well in a rye-forward cocktail like a Manhattan or Old Fashioned if you want something more mixed.
