Produced by Tito's Handmade Vodka in Austin, Texas, Tito's was founded by Bert "Tito" Beveridge, who began distilling vodka in the mid-1990s after obtaining Texas' first legal distilling permit. Inspired by traditional pot still distillation methods more commonly associated with fine whiskey and cognac production, Tito developed a corn-based vodka that quickly gained a reputation for its smooth texture and clean flavour profile.
