Tolaini 2021 Gran Selezione Vigna Montebello Sette comes from a single high-quality site in Castelnuovo Berardenga where Sangiovese grows on a mix of clay, galestro and limestone with abundant stones. The grapes are hand harvested and rigorously sorted before whole berries are placed in French oak fermenters. A long maceration of about forty days builds concentration and structure. Aging takes place for roughly two years in large oak casks with additional time in concrete to refine texture and preserve purity. This approach highlights vineyard character while creating a wine with depth, balance and aging potential.

Tasting Notes:
The wine opens with aromas of cherry, dark berries, blood orange, tobacco, cedar and Tuscan herbs. The palate is powerful yet polished with ripe fruit, subtle spice, balsamic tones and firm integrated tannins supported by lively acidity.
