A NEW AND DISTINCTIVE TAKE ON PEATED SINGLE MALT WHISKY. WELL-TEMPERED PEAT As the second distillery ever to be built on the Isle of Skye, we combine a respect for the heritage of the island and its whisky making traditions with a fresh spirit of creativity to achieve a distinctive distillery style which we call Well-Tempered Peat. Nose: Typically Torabhaig with bonfire smoke, peat, and light, sweet, vanilla-led oaky spice. Palate: More smoke, salinity, maltiness and quite an obvious wood spice with subtle grain, capsicum, and green apple touches. Weighty peat embers, a touch of cedar and sawdust. Finish: More oaky spice with a tickle of fire.
